Website hosting bandwidth usage?
Hi, I have a website made and I was considering hosting it myself. I currently host a counterstrike server with about 3-8 people on and I was wondering, How much bandwidth with the site use with say, 30 visits a day? Also would this cause lag to my counterstrike server? And finally I share my internet with a few people, Would it create a noticeable internet slowdown? And would hosting a counterstrike server give a noticeable slowdown aswell?(I haven't noticed it yet,but I used to host an online game for a friend and it lagged my internet then,Im assuming a online game requires more resources though.)
Thanks
~Endrien

You can expect to use between 120k to 1.5 G/player/day depending on the length of time they spend there(5 minutes to find a friend and leave, to a 4 hour marathon type of playing session) what their connection speed is(dial up/adsl/T3/etc), and what they actually do(did they spend 15 minutes just chatting with their friend?s) and which mod you use.
Guessing play time of 1 hour per person @ 30 people per day, I think you should expect between 15 Gigs to 40 Gigs of bandwidth per day. Because of all the other variables, I cant guess any more accurately than that. They say technology slows down for no one. I know it outruns my wallet. I figure its because my wallet isn't light enough yet.
