Need Helping Building Gaming computer for $700

This will be my First Build So im a little Lost On what would be a good Gaming Pc for Around $700. I already have my Case, Hard drive and fans. i also have a monitor. I have been reading up looking around at different configurations but im not sure whats a good choice. Anyone who oculd post some good spec i would be very Thankful =)

IMO i agree with karmas build 100 percent but with a budget of 700 u should use it =p u could upgrade the mobo to a

Asus P5e
Newegg.com - ASUS P5E LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

or even the video card to a 4870

Let me get this straight...
You want him to pay over double for a motherboard that has lower specs, and SLI wich is a waste of money?

Completely agree ... especially since i just bought the noted mobo. Its sick as hell.


No reason to waste money on SLI for a budget/value gaming box.


No Case was listed so unless your not looking for one ... I would check out the Antec Sonata III with the Earthwatts 500 built in.
