Hp Xw 4200/4300 workstations

I know very little about the inner workings of pc's and am wanting to know about video cards for the referenced machines. Will a regular pc video card i.e. nvidia series 8 work in these machines or do you have to stay with the workstation video cards for the machines? Thanks

The workstations both have PCIe x16, PCIe x1 and PCI slots. The 4300 also has an x8 slot.

You can use any video card you like as long as it isn't AGP.
