| Dual monitor mode quit working
I've been using the clone option from my NVIDIA control panel to switch from my 19 inch ViewSonic display to my 42 inch LCd TV for games or video from the internet. Always worked perfectly until recently. I've checked all my cable connections and no matter what, it no longer works. When I select from my 42 inch monitor's menu the HDMI 2 input, I get "Not supported". My DVD player works fine from HDMI 1. any suggestions?
For the record, running Vista Home premium from a Quad Core with 3GB all drivers and such up-to-date. Vista's Media Center use to work perfectly with the clone monitor setting.. Thanking all in adavance.

System Restore to a day before it worked or, like Bonehead said, remove and reinstall your video drivers ftw.
The good news is your HDMI connection still works.. my Sony KDLV32XBR1's component 2 input took a dive a little over a month after I bought it |

Thanks, gang. I did the restore, but no luck. my daughter came home from school and wanted to play Sims2 on the big screen, so I gave it another try and this time it worked. Strange. Going to do a little more research. Something is goofy (for lack of a better word). I have a couple of days off from work so I'll play around with it. Hopefully there will be an answer and I'll let everyone know. Thanks again.

No more problems with the dual monitor mode. Still don't know why it didn't work for that short time, but I'm not complaining.
