RCA 52Inch HDTV wont turn on

Hi, my RCA D52W135D won't turn on now. When I plug it in, the green power light will light up sometimes. I also saw it flash 8 times once. I've fixed a few TVs before when I knew what i needed to replace (i can solder pretty well), so i'm hoping someone can give me some insight on what might need to be replaced? Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like a cooked circuit board. Maybe the DLP lamp? I don't think you will be able to get a schematic for it, didn't see anything on the RCA site along those lines.

How old is this unit? The lamps run about $125.00, but I didn't see yer TV listed

Its a D52W135D built in 2002. What does the lamp look like?

I have a 52 inch RCA. I play video games on it and it works fine, but one specific game (Fallout 3) makes the screen black out. No other games or movies have any problems playing on the TV. I have messed with different resolutions and display settings, but the problem remains the same. WTF?

i think the model no. is ds not d5
