thanks for the quick reply! I think the psu is bit pricey for me LOL. I got one around my house that I think is good enough.

but what about the parts I already have listed? are they good for the *price*

    Thanks.

believe it or not, my budget is below $200, I am 14 and do not have a job, I have grown up with computers all my life so I do know a decent amount about them, nice motherboard richeemxx, hope when I decide to buy my computer that mobo will still be available.

Gateway FX mBTX Barebones Computer Case w/Intel DQ965 Socket 775 Motherboard & 250W PSU Gateway
    Barebones case - Intel 965 Mobo = $75
    Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2200 2.2GHz 800MHz 1MB Socket 775 CPU Intel E2200
    Intel E2200 Dual Core = $65
    Nanya 2GB DDR2 RAM PC2-6400 240-Pin DIMM Nanya
    2 Gig stick DDR2 PC800 memory = $24
    Lite-On LH-20A1S 20x DVD±RW DL SATA Drive (Black) LiteOn LH-20A1S
    20x Sata DVDRW = $20

For under $200, that's a pretty solid starter PC.

Or considering your first list at about $200...
    HP De-Branded Pentium 4 530J 3.0GHz 1GB 160GB DVD±RW No Operating System TS-0001A-P4-161
    HP De-Branded Pentium Dual-Core E2180 2.0GHz 1GB 250GB DVD±RW No Operating System TS-0006A-DC662

If you stuck with your first list I would get THIS motherboard instead... and skip the video card for now until you can afford something better.
