Toll free using Skype

has anyone tried using Skype for toll-free numbers in the US?

602 is an Arizona area code. It is not toll free. However, you should be able to use Skype using the normal Skype rate for outgoing calls. To call from Skype (or England in general) you would need to dial the Country code (1) then the area code and then the rest of the number

1-602-690-****

The toll free numbers are (most common) 1-800, 1-888, and (less common but still listed as toll free) 1-877, 1-866, 1-855, 1-844, 1-833, 1-822.

From what I can see, you used to be able to call toll free numbers without having any credit on your skype account and it cost nothing... I have not found anything that confirms or denies that from the past couple of years though...

I am trying to find out now, but my Skype is having trouble connecting to the servers

Worked from my account with $0.00 credit.

I tried by calling Google's 411 number: 1-800-GOOG-411

Yes, it works.

But the quality of the call isn't all there with Skype so I'm going to ahead and pay for it. It's a fairly important call I wouldn't want to risk missing something out in a glitch.
