dealing with hp

Hey guys. I have two hp laptops (same model). One needs a replacement touch sensor for the volume. Another needs a replacement monitor (screen keeps dying). They're giving me a hard time about shipping me the parts to replace myself. Anyone else have any luck/advice on getting them to ship the parts so you can do your own work?

Does you warranty paper work say anything about opening the case will void the warranty?

Have you already spent time with their support dept to confirm the parts need replacment?

Did you ask them about a local authorized repair shop that can do the repairs?

Good points. Will be looking into it. Thanks for the advice! Just wanted to make sure you knew I came back lol. The touch sensor one seemed to work itself out for now with a driver reinstall. The monitor one has now escalated to just shutting down entirely instead of the monitor just dying, so we'll see how that one goes. I'll keep you guys updated.
