I have a Dell Axim x51. It is a great PDA. I have had no problems with it until now. i am trying to sync with my Dell Dimension 8110 with a Celeron D processor running Win XP home SP 3. I am getting this error when trying to sync with ActiveSync 4.5:
"Critical Communications Services have failed to start. Try resetting the device , and then connect again."
I have turned off all, I mean everything, of my virus scans and firewalls and anything that resembles a firewall or virus scan. I have Filseclab, AVG and Windows firewall and I have turned them all off in order to troubleshoot. I did a Hard-boot on my PDA and it still has not fixed the issue. Does anyone have a clue what to try next? any help would be great and would lower my blood pressure.
