Apple Software Update/Can not Uninstall

I have Apple Software Update sitting in my Add/Remove Programs list.

I can not delete it. I cannot repair it because it is gone. But the Software Update listing is still in the list and I cant get it to go away. I tried to install a new version of Itunes, but it will not install until I get rid of this ghost of Apple Software Update of days past.

Anyone know how to give this A.S. Update the boot off the list??

Removing invalid entries from Add or Remove Programs

CRAP! I forgot I posted this!

I used the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to get rid of the offensive item on the list.

After I used the utility, the install of ITunes went without a hitch.
