need new screen for Inspiron 1525

Just got a new Dell Inspiron 1525 for christmass and my screen broke/scracked/done/need new one, I have looked online for one already and cant seem to find just a screen (whole top part of laptop) besides blue skin with the round dell emblem. Anyways can anyone help me out on where I can find this and how much possibly? I kno that I could easily take it someware but if I can just take the old screen off and put the new one on myself, thiers no need for someone to make a profit off of me to fix my darn computer, im a DIY person . Did the whole top of the notebook break, or just the LCD display itself. If just the LCD display, it should have a model number on the back, which you could use to source a replacement (check eBay).
