Ok, Thanks for all the advice. I have decided just to use some old XP64bit I have lying around. Then I will upgrade to 7 when I can get full version. Or if I'm too lazy ill just go for the 64bit 7 release candidate, and upgrade from there. I don't want to go back to using vista.
I have decided to scrap the raptor, as it goes over my budget which is already stretched. So instead I have just gone for 3 Samsung 1TB's, which will last me for ages in terms of space. Unless there is a similar HD wich is similar in price but better in any other way.
Also, as I am not really planning to overclock (im scared ill wreck some of my parts if I mess around with them haha), I have gotten rid of the Asus mobo, and switched to a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4P LGA1366, X58, which seems to have a fairly good reputation, and it also saves me a bit of $$$.
Finally, I also downgraded to a eVGA GTX260+SSCEDITION, which is considerably cheaper from the price source I am using.
Thanks again |

Oh and I have also changed the case. Going for the CM HAF 932 now XD. Is there any point to grab another brand CPU cooler for the i7? |

I entered to win one a while ago, haven't heard anything back.
Did you enter to win the TKWR's AMD chips at Toms? Limited edition AMD Quad core that's estimated value is $999!
(entered that one too) Quote:

A good after market cooler will cool better, and probably be more quiet. If budget is a factor though, it's not needed. |

Thanks |

Thanks |
