aside from extra power draw on the circuit that the kitchen is on (assuming you plug it into an outlet on the same circuit, just make sure it doesn't over load that circuit the kitchen appliances are on, or you'll find yourself making quite a few trips to the fuse box to reset it), don't really see a problem with it. not many people I know put one in the kitchen, usually Living room, entertainment room, bedrooms, etc, but if its the only place to put one, then don't see much of a problem with it.

I do apartment renovation and ive seen people with AC's in their kitchen windows its fine there is no problem with it, but like SHY said if you overload your circuit you will need to reset your fuse alot.

its a kenmore ac. small ac. like around 90.00 usd - 120.00 usd
the living room size is around apartment room size or cottage size. ketchen too.
defective ac? or just cheap ac? or facing east south west north matter?

how old is this AC? might need recharging of the refrigerant, otherwise there could be something else physically wrong with it.
some AC's you just need to turn on and only have a couple of settings, some have a ton of settings you have to play with to set the temps and all that.
you also need to clean them out at least once a year, like PC's they do get clogged, but with dirt, bugs, etc etc. |
