Hi guys I' m new here and Im going to college soon, so i was looking for a gaming laptop I have a budget around 1,000-1,200 USD. I was thinking of alienware but they are quite expensive any ideas? |

Personally I'd buy a netbook and use the rest of the money to build a computer. Seeing that Gaming Laptops can't compete with a desktop thats half the price.

Gaming Laptops suck. My friend with an ASUS laptop with a Core 2 duo, 4gb ram and Nvidia Gfx(Good graphics card,better than mine, can't remember brand)
My desktop with
2.2ghz Pentium dual core
3gb ram
8600gt
out performs his laptop. | |

Jesus people. Of course I know a desktop out perform a laptop Im going to college soon and ill be in a dorm I don't want a desktop. SO IF YOU PLEASE just recommend some good gaming laptop it would be nice | |
