Windows 7 question

I got a question, If I download the beta now, will I be able to just use windows update when the full version is released and not have to buy windows 7? Or will they just say, haha thanks for testing this now go buy it.

After the deadline it will start shutting down your computer every two hours. You will need to install a fresh OS, be it windows 7 or an older windows.....

The beta is actually over and it is now into the Release Candidate stage.
Yes, at the end of the trial you will need to go buy a full copy.
This will almost certainly need a full install from the RC version, rather than an upgrade, so you will need to backup any data and settings you want to keep.

actually it will, somewhere around here someone provided the link from Microsoft's site stating that you Will need to do a full reinstall of the OS when replacing with a Retail Release version.

Can I upgrade from the RC to the final version of Windows 7?

When you install the final version of Windows 7, you'll need to do a clean installation. So plan on backing up your data then reinstalling your applications and restoring your data.
