Suggestions before going to Windows 7 ???

Yep, I was wanting to upgrade my MOBO and CPU to the latest Intel i7 so I can run 64 bit and get the benefit of better RAM management so I'll have better performance.

So, I'll probably tweak my backup computer so I can use all my business programs on it while I send my computer back to the manufacturer for rebuilding

This time around, considering everybody is saying Windows 7 is a good stable OS, I want to build for the best performance possible so I need to take my time and plan ahead

Vista actually is a very good and stable OS. Its just that it got such a bad rep when it came out no matter what Microsoft did after that to it people hated it. I have Vista on my other computer and really I dont see anything wrong with it. Windows 7 of course takes the cake. Id prefer 7 to Vista any day because its that good.

It does OK, but I think I'm having some Windows issues as it hangs up sometimes.
