Im looking to build my first computer! I need some direction.

My 21st is coming up and im going to treat myself to building my own computer but i have no idea where to start, and i have a limited budget of 700$-800$.im a gamer, i want a computer to be top of the line for gaming, of course tailored to my budget.

add in the remaining parts from above, not factoring in keyboard, mouse and Operating system, and you could maybe manage a Radeon 5850 into the build. or possibly a Radeon 4890. of if Crossfire isn't a bit issue for you, a Geforce GTX 275 could be had easily.

Sorry about not posting sooner, im using a old ass dell, this thing is making me so mad. um, this is nice, i hadnt expected such quick and helpful reply. but i need to lower the price now, $600-$700. right now, i need a computer that can run the best games for at least a year from now. So if you need to save money focus more on things for gaming. i want a long living computer too, most important parts should be from brands with good names and strong products.

i had no idea it was this easy to build my own computer, i cant freaking wait to order some parts and put it together!
