Alternative MP3 player?

My girlfriend is sort of set on this: Latte Espresso 16 GB Player/ FM Transmitter | Overstock.com

And I'm a bit out of the loop on mp3 players these days. She likes the idea of it being touch screen and isn't too concerned with the size. 16GB is large enough.

Anyone know of something similar? Maybe a better buy?

I've got a 60gb Creative Zen Xtra (discontinued, though I'm still stumped as to why!) that she can have for $50. PM me and I'll hook you up. Battery life is phenomenal, blue screen is great, but I just don't use it anymore.

It's all loaded up with techno- the good stuff.

I'm not sure what people buy these days, but when I bought the Zen Xtra, I bought the best player available that wasn't by a type of fruit. I'm a linux guy myself. I think most people use their phones anyway.

That Zen got discontinued cause they couldn't sell enough to make a profit from them.

I've got a 6+ year old creative zen micro, 6GB, and even though my backpack pack / pocket have beaten the crap out of it, it still works just as good as the day I got it. excellent sound and battery life. Got my mom a newer zen ( the plain one @ $60, not x-fi) and its even better. She keeps charging it, expecting it to need a charge, but I don't think it's hit half dead on the battery yet.

Edit: forgot to mention, It's got an SD slot for extra space.
