Has anyone used Netflix for streaming movies to a device?

I'm thinking about upgrading to a blu-ray player. One of the features offered by Samsung is the ability to stream Netflix movies directly to the player. I was wondering if anyone has this and how well it works.

Osprey, I have been looking into getting a BD player and will in the next few weeks. My wife and I are setting up a home theater. Most of the new BD players are now capable of streaming videos from a variety of websites (mainly Netflix) I am actually leaning towards getting a PS3 over a stand alone BD player. The other units I am considering are a Sony and an Oppo. The only draw back I see with the PS3 is the lack of a remote, which can be replaced by a universal. But I believe I read you can buy and IR/Radio to Bluetooth converter to fix this. Yes, it does cost a little more but when you factor in the fact that PS3 comes with an internal HD it sort of offsets itself.

    just some thoughts.

    coincidence ..... i think not.

I've been using streaming Netflix with my Tivo HD & really like the service. It does occasionally pause to buffer, and has also reduced PQ to save bandwidth a couple times. Overall though, I'm very happy with the service & glad we signed up for it.

I'm using Comcast in Atl, GA.

Yes, I've thought about the PS3 idea, but with my younger one headed to college, I think it might just collect dust.

I'm also thinking about getting my Dad a Roku but I worry about how well it will work with his DSL service, which is not lightning fast.
