floppy fail disk 40...
I get this error when I boot up with floppy enabled. Ive tried 2 floppy drives and a couple of cables. What is this error and how do I fix it?

i believe this means that the cable is on wrong. try switching it around.

Another way to tell if the cable is upside-down is if the floppy drive light stays on constantly.
