Suggestions for a new computer desk...

Hi all,

I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this question, but you all are so helpful with other things, I thought I would try. I want to buy a new computer desk. Here are the things I want it to have.
1. I want to be able to see my tower. It has lots of bling...and I don't want to hide it in a casing.
2. I want it to be sturdy and durable. I am not light on desks.
3. I prefer that it has shelving on top of the desk. I want easy access to my game cases and lots of room to store them.
4. It can't be gigantic. Around 50 inches wide.
5. It must have a place for a printer.

I have looked around a bit now, but I'm not sure what to buy. What are good brands and bad brands....what is sturdy, and what will fall apart the first time I slam my fist in gaming frustration?

Any suggestions are welcomed and apreciated.

I know nothing about suggestions for furniture, but I do have to ask, are you wanting a regular against the wall style desk or a Corner style desk.

reason I ask, is sometimes people like me only have the room to fit a desk in the corner due to everything else along the walls, or lack of space along walls due to windows, etc.

Desks are such a personal taste thing....I suggest you going to several office supply and furniture stores and take a first hand look.

Then there's the price part....Desks start at about 70 bucks and go on through the roof.
