    Exclamation Monitor Blinking...

     
    I built a PC in March and now all of the sudden my monitor starts blinking on and off every few minutes or so. Please Help!!

    Specs:
    Intel Core i7 860
    Asus P7P55D Motherboard
    Zotac GeForce 220
    Acer H243H Moniter

    The monitor probably has one or more bad capacitors. I work at a small computer shop and we see this pretty often. If you'd like to rule out the computer, try plugging the monitor into another computer or a laptop if you can. We are usually successful at replacing bad capacitors, but you might have a hard time finding a shop that will do it... or you may not want to pay for the repair verses replacing the monitor. I hope this helps.
