My only hang up is the heatsink/fan, need something that cools efficiently and is relatively quiet for dvd playback---
So far it looks like im gonna get out cheap for 1100$
Hey check out the Chieftec cases at Newegg---Aluminum w/plastic front bezel 5 colors w/windows and 420watt p/s pretty cool at 129$---

June 19th, 2002, 09:42 PM #2I just switched to a Thermaltake Volcano 7, the only time that you really notice it is when you run the processor at 100% and get the CPU temp into the 40ºC range, otherwise it's pretty quiet. I did modify it by relocating the thermal sensor to between two fins under the fan.My only hang up is the heatsink/fan, need something that cools efficiently and is relatively quiet for dvd playback---
One note though, it's a pretty BIG HSF.What did a tornado sound like before freight trains were invented?

Got all the components today---(Newegg kicks butt for me overnight Supersaver service, most items shipped FREE) went with the Coolermaster HCC-L61-E1 heatpipe---he doesnt know it yet but HE is gonna build it---aint that what bein a godfather is about?---participating in the growth of the child???
(swapped the Asus video for a Leadtech)
BTW the Chieftech case is a copy of the case Alien (Antec) uses but its made of aluminum---Antec's are steel at almost twice the weight...KILLER case for the $$$Last edited by thekingofpain; June 20th, 2002 at 09:41 PM.

I prefer not to be stopped in the street just because someone decided my clothes were "wrong" or my hair was "too long". I do understand and partly agree with your point, but this was too much, IMO.
Do you think this was a legitimate...
