    Smile HP Laptop Starts after turning it on many times

     
    Hi All,

    There is a problem with my laptop when i turn it on it does not start every time ? The seems to be power as the fan comes on but the light don't turn ON. The fan just comes on and off after sometime.
    But sometime when i turn it on the fan comes on and when the lights turn on it boots as normal and works fine.
    So my at the moment i don't turn it off and don't face any problem ? Anybody faced the same problem please help thank you.

    What is the model # and how old is this laptop?

    The Laptop is HP Compaq NX5000 and its about 5 years old.

    Running on Windows XP Pro Service Paxk 3

    Intel Centrino 1.5 MHz processor

    120G Hard disk was changed from the original and reformated.
