Moving content from one exchange account to another

I use outlook to manage my mail, calender, contact notes etc using my exhange account. I'm going to be moving to a new account this week and my current one will be closing down.

Is there any way I can transfer all my content from my current exchange to my new exchange account? I don't mind if it has to be done through Outlook but would have thought there might be a little more to it than just simply saving everything and opening it up in the new exchange account...

But wouldn't that also backup the account information like the SMTP servers and other connection information too and then try to apply them to my new account?

No, a PST file is simply a store of mail (and calendar, etc) entries - and holds no details of the account configuration that received the item/s.

You may also want to make/take a copy of the PST before uploading it into the 'new' Exchange account, just in case you have any issues...
I've seen the light... It was green, flashy and attached to a Network Interface Card...
