Reader Help

I wanna buy all 3 of my daughters readers for Christmas. I have about $200.00 for each. What would you suggest?

When you say reader are you looking for something specifically that just does books like the Kindle or are you looking for something that allows for some Apps like the Kindle Fire?

I think more like the Kindle Fire. I don't know much about them. I have read some reviews about the Kindle Fire. Didn't make me wanna run out and buy one.

Well the Kindle and Nook are the most popular choices for actual e-Readers. They only offer books though. The Kindle Fire and new Nook Tablet are more of a hybrid type device. They don't offer the performance of some of the higher priced tablets but they offer more options than the basic e-Reader.

It really depends on what you are looking for the devices to do. If you just want something for reading the Kindle is great and everyone I know that has them loves them. If you are looking for something more then with that price range you are going to be limited to something like the Fire or some of the generic tablets. Archos has a couple and there were a few other companies that put out some devices. I've never had hands on them for a real suggestion

If you don't know much about them then I'd suggest going in-store and getting hands on them. The look and feel of each devices varies a ton and you'll get a bit better idea what features you might want.
