    Interesting Keyboard Problem (Shift Key)

The keyboard on my other PC is having a problem with the "Shift" keys. The problem being, well, it won't work! Once in a while when I re-boot, the shift keys work but most the time they wont! Any ideas what can be causing this? Everything else works except the 2 Shift keys. Thanks..

Have you spilt any liquids onto the keyboard, or maybe dropped it recently?

Sometimes they just wear out. In AutoCAD, I constantly use the "z", "e", "c", "and "Esc" key. They get used about ten times as much as the other keys. As they wore out (after 5+ years of daily work) I programmed around them, but when all 4 started to go, I got a new KB. Actually woulda bought one sooner (I suffered along for months) but the one I use is hard to find.

I had the same problem, where sometimes it would boot up OK, and sometimes would boot up screwy.
