Here are the recommended system specs

    Battlefield 3 system requirements - Battlefield 3

The onboard video is the Ati HD 4250, do a youtube search of it playing battlefield 3. Looks kind of laggy

as GZ said, its only got the onboard Radeon 4250 and that will almost certainly barely run the game and look like crap.

the PC in question is an 8 Core CPU, which is way overkill for the game.

And the Power supply, most certainly a Raidmax PSU since its a Raidmax Case, is going to be a Piece of Dung as well.

How much of a budget do you have to spend on a new PC?

oh, no no no no, don't start suggesting that, I try so hard to get people to STOP referring to that stupid sites recommendations, all it ever does is read your DirectX info from your PC, half the time that info is never correct.

the half the time their database of minimum, recommended, etc requirements is wrong.

Take for example, my run of BF3 and my system on it, it meets Minimum Requirements but fails Recommended...

It shows a DX11 capable card with 1024MB of Memory for the Video card needed, and shows (GTX 570 or Radeon 6950) as examples.

My GTX 470 is DX11, and has 1280MB of Memory... last I checked that EXCEEDS recommended specs. And yes, its not a 570 or 6950, but the 470 isn't far behind the 6950 in performance, only the 560 Ti stands between the 470 and 6950)

Makes me wonder if I had my 560 Ti in if it would still say the same, since that card trades punches with the 6950 in most reviews and bencmarks.

the other thing, the test shows I have 4GB Video memory... I don't, I have 1280MB on the GTX 470, and 1GB (1024MB) on the GTX 285. I also have 6GB System Memory... where its getting 4GB is beyond me (also running 64-bit Windows), but I know DirectX Diagnostic also stupidly reports 4GB of video memory)

Yes, I knew it uses DirectX because I have DirectX disabled in the router and I have to enable it for the site to work.

BF3, runs on my system that has a GTX285 with old drivers.. 191.07 in windows 7 on the i7 920, and 6GB RAM.

It gives a "oh you drivers are out of date.. blah blah blah," but the game still loads and plays. It defaults the video setting to medium everything, and plays fine, just that I don't.

I didn't try installing it on the 4400+ box with a GT 440. It took forever to just install on the two newer boxes.. off the CD and just downloading on the newest machine I just built.. I think the downloading was faster than the CD(DVD) if that makes any sense at all.

I think even a cheap GT 440 or GTS 450 will be better than running that integrated 4250. Isn't the 4250 just a revamped 9250?
