    What CPU cooling fan?

OK so i recently moded my tower and now i'm looking to give it that nice cool blue glow. Recently picked up a decent LED Antec case fan and put it on the side for an intake. Went back yesterday and grabed another one thinking i could just swap out my coolermaster CPU for the Antec fan. After closer reseaching the speeds im not sure if it would be safe to swap out the Delta coolermaster AUB0812HH for this Antec LED TRIcool, both 80 mm. They would be cooling an AMD phenom x4.
    Specs are-

    Coolermaster- http://www.delta.com.tw/product/cp/d...x80x25.4mm.pdf

    Antec-
    80x80x25.4 mm
    12v DC
    RPM 1500, or, 2000, or 2600
    CFM 20, 26, or 30
dba 18, 24, or 30 (sound is not an issue for me)
There is an optional speed switch L, M, or H and is why there are different RPM/CFM values

I dont think its a good nuff reason to swap out these fans just for aesthetic value and lose performance. If there are other options (mind you my cas is smaller) im open to any. Or would this casefan cooler run fast enough on high to keep the CPU cool?
    Thanks a mill pplz.

The antec should run fast enough to keep the CPU cool. It runs at a rated 30CFM on max, the Delta one is about 34CFM max... not a huge difference.

Unless your CPU is already running hot, the Antec fan run on max won't cause it to overheat or anything with the 4CFM less max rating.

What Coolermaster CPU Heatsink do you have in there?

    Thanks for the responce.
Not sure what brand/model the CPU heatsink is, however i do know its HP's Pavillion p6774y stock, same as that Delta Coolermaster fan that came attached. I tried getting that heatsink info from HP's website but im running dialup (off old arss computer), and it prompted me to download an Adobe reader that keeps timing out. Dialup sucks.

I did double checked on that Delta, RPM-3250 and CFM 37.42. So the gap between the two is over 7 points CFM now. But honestly im not really sure how much a differance that is, i dont speek 'CFM'. Ideally, I'd like to find a fan that can outperform that Delta and give me a nice blue LED glow to sexify my CPU. Or if the 7 points aint much of a big deal, i may just stick with the Antec and avoid returns.

Not sure what the current CPU temps are running at. If you know of any free PRGMs that could tell me i'd like to check em out, and test both fans.
    Thanks for any info.
