Well you shouldn't have any bottlenecks on that system, but for upgrades adding in an SSD would be a start.

sounds good, i think ill start with a intel 520 120gb ssd and maybe a new case cause personaly i dislike the antec 900 its kinda small and if i ever wanted to drop in another 6970 id prob need more room
i know it seemed like kinda a pointless post but im just kinda wondering where to start
    anyways thx for the ideas

That system really doesn't need any upgrading, depending on your uses for it.

On that note, what do you do with this pc? What are you upgrading for? No point replacing already top of the line hardware with slightly better parts simply because you saved the money to do so.

SSD is definitely a nice boost overall though, especially if that 1tb drive is a slower one.
    Main PC: AMD FX-8350 / 16gb DDR3 1600 / AMD 7970GE 1200mhz Core & 1600mhz Mem / Win7 Pro 64bit
    File Server: AMD Opteron 180 / 3gb DDR400 / Nvidia 6200 / WinXP Home 32bit / Lubuntu 12.10
    Laptop: HP-Compaq nc8430/ Intel CoreDuo T2400 / 2gb DDR2 667/ Ati x1600 / WinXP Pro 32bit

    Agreed on the SSD.
I would start with a Intel 520 series or a Crucial M4, both are amazingly fast.
As far as a case, I also dislike the Antec 900 series. They are tiny considering larger GPU's now a days, they lack cable management, and really I dislike the way the HDD's mount in the case.

I would suggest either a nice Corsair case, or my new personal favorite a Fractal Design case.
Newegg.com - Fractal Design Define XL Black Pearl w/ USB 3.0 ATX Full Tower Silent PC Computer Case
Newegg.com - Fractal Design Define R3 Titanium Grey w/ USB 3.0 ATX Mid Tower Silent PC Computer Case
    Newegg.com - Corsair Graphite Series 600T CC600TM Mid-Tower Gaming Case
Newegg.com - Corsair Carbide Series 400R Graphite grey and black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

I believe all of those cases are larger then what you currently have, so make sure you have room for it. Other then that, they are superior in cooling, cable management, and looks.

I personally like this case. Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER Storm Scout SGC-2000-KKN1-GP Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

I plan on buying that one for when I finally upgrade.

Have to agree with everything said here, no need for any real upgrades beyond what you have already.

Only things to really change is an SSD, and maybe the Case if you want to.

Out of the Cases Karma listed, my favorite is the Corsair 600T (which is what I originally wanted last year, but really couldn't afford or justify spending $150 at the time)

The Fractal Design cases are really nice as well, though I'm not a big fan of panels that close over the drive bays and air intakes, haven't been a fan of those for years now, I like my front panel open and exposed for air intake and flow, though the big plus to the closed door look is less hairs and dust balls built up in the front panel mesh, which acts like a dryer vent in our house due to our dog always shedding her fur.

Only other thing I can think of is, adding a second 6970 for Crossfire if you feel you need it.

But for the cost, you might as well sell the old one, and then just get a single Radeon 7950 or 7970 and weed out the Crossfire performance issues (same with SLI, depending on games, settings, etc, you may or may not get a 2 fold performance increase, if the games your playing with don't cope too well with Crossfire, be it the game, or driver issues, then reverting to a single card, defeats the point of Crossfire in which a single 7900 series or even a Single Geforce GTX 680 would yield better performance.)

But the single 6970 should still be doing pretty good for most games, not sure how it is with a 3 display setup though.
