My brother-in-law has his Doctorate, Sis has been a teacher for some 30+ years.
They had Macingosh in the school system .
When they bought a computer, they grabbed a Pentium II 400mhz with Win98, in "98

You know what drives me crazy? Those new Mac commercials with alleged mac users flailing their hands around as they exclaim about the pc they once had, "I just couldn't understand it, couldn't find things on my desktop, couldn't open a file (couldn't find my bottom with both hands)!...
I've got nothing against mac, but these ads are really insulting.

| An effect, not a cause. A lot of colleges are Mac-oriented; Apple did a wonderful selling job on educational institutions.
I'm not knocking Macs: I use PCs exclusively myself, but that's because I started using computers in an organization that was DOS-oriented and never changed.
Also, it's a lot easier to build your own PC! |
