Home Stereo Problem
I am having a problem, with a Home Stereo. It is a "GPX HM2855," the problem I am having is, The stereo will turn itself on and off, by itself. I have done everything that I can think of. I have read that some GPX Models have a reset button, but wouldn't you know that this model does not. I have tried unpluging it, but that doesn't seem to help either. Thanks in advance for any help.

Could be a dirty or malfunctioning On/Off switch... get some electronics cleaner spray from yer local auto parts store and give it a shot...

If cleaning the on/off switch fail , then you should consider opening the stereo and look for an overheating component ; In your case , it could be the main Audio chipset failing randomly, or the cooling lubricant between the chipset and its heat sink had dried ..

If you're gonna make a point of asking for documentation that's one click away, you really shouldn't sneer at someone who does it for you.
Oh, look! A NEW Obama scandal!!!
