Hey guys I am looking to run two computers off of one monitor! Now I would like to only have one mouse and one keyboard also! Is there such a tool that I can purchase to manage all of this for me? Now I do know that there are tools you can buy that will use one monitor for both! But for all of this? I need to get some 1/8" splitters for the sound card then but I would like to elimate all these at once if possible! I have been looking over the net for a hour now and have not found anything that fits the desciption! PLEASE PLEASE HELP!
Anyone got some good ideas for a router also? Only need two hubs! But will prolly end up having to buy three/four hub router! |

Having one monitor connected to two computers isn't nearly as fun as having two (or more) monitors connected to one computer... |

For the audio, last I looked, Radio Shack made a 3 in/1 out switch for audio to, like, expand the number of inputs to your stereo receiver. This would work well for the audio if it's not supported in your KVM switch (and I've not seen one at a tolerable price that will). I use these all over the place, both as a 3 in/1 out and also in reverse as a 1 in /3 out switch in the studio.
Pretty cheap, pretty goof-proof. You'll need some 1/8" to dual RCA adapter cables, probably, but that's it.
