| My TV-Out won't work... Help!
I bought a video cable from Radio Shack today and got it all hooked up to my computer and TV. Now I go under Control Panel, Display, Settings, then click on the nVeiw tab. Where I'm supposed to choose analog display, digital display, or TV, the TV option (and digital display) is greyed out, like it isn't detecting the TV.
Any help? I have a Gateway Performance 1400, PNY Verto GF4 Ti 4200, and Win XP. I called both Gateway and PNY and they couldn't help me. I have all the latest drivers for everything too. |

Possibly... the cable was opened (previously returned) so it is a possibility. But when I turn on the computer, my TV screen flickers and shakes some, so it's apparently detecting something. |

I had to check the "force detection" or something like that to get mine working. It would not see my TV automatically. The problem went away after I forced the detection.

I tried the "detect displays" button and it still won't detect it .
And where is the "force detection" feature? |

Right click on desktop > properties > settings > advanced > nView > it should be a check box near the bottom of the page.

I couldn't find any "force detection" check-box bigblue, you must have a different version of nVeiw or something?
And I'm not using S-Video, I'm using AV I think (red, yellow, and white)? |
