Why can't MS be more like Apple?

I wouldn't mind paying $200 bucks for an OS if I got to install it on 5 computers... But who has five macs to install it on.. You'd have to have lots of cash heh.

Sounds like a good deal to me, except macs cost more than Im willing to pay.

Microsoft wouldnt do this because they wouldnt get as much money.

Some thing a lot of people don't realize is Mac is a hardware company, that is where most of there money comes from. Microsoft doesn't sell the hardware their OS comes on and therefore has to have a different selling stratigy.

Also, I do agree with the comment, I would like MS to have a multi-computer home license.

That would be a more resonable deal than what M$ offers on their OS's.

Whaddya mean, "more reasonable?" The only way it can be more reasonable is if MS's offer is reasonable at all, which it isn't.
