video file player
Can anyone recommend an all around good video file player other than WMP? Thanks!

That's a tough one... they all seem to have problems of some sort and none I've tried will play everything I throw at it.
Between WMP 7.01, WMP 6.4, Quicktime 6.0, DivX Player 2.0, Creative Play Center 3.02 and WinDVD 4.0 I seem to have got all the bases covered. There ought'a be a law forcing compliance and compatibility with these darn things.

Yeah John E is right, it takes several players to play every kind of file. At least that's what I found

powerDVD seems to play more than any other I've found, but I still need other players sometimes
BCThe impossible takes more time, and costs more money.

I would use Quick Time if it were me.
I know RealPlayer supports them, but they're worse then being infested by las cucarachas!

Quicktime gets my vote as best alternative too

Implying a knife, ball bat, cast-iron pan, taser, or running the hell away would not have also been effective. She had the means, just not the intelligence to utilize her surroundings to her...
Do YOU think having a gun would...
