virus? corrupted file?
just tried to dl simpsons background pictures from kazaa. got a few and now i have a problem with two of them.

when i tried to open them kazaa locks up. actually my whole pc locks up saying that kazaa is not responding.

i ran system suite. found nothing..ran scan from housecall..nothing found.

tried to uninstall kazaa assuming i would delete the virus. wont let me do it saying it doesnt know where these two files are from.

when i right click on these files i dont get a delete option.

any other way i can delete these files?

please help

What kind of files are they? .jpg, .gif, .vbs, what?

okay, click on it to select it. Then hold shift and hit delete.

Try it in safe mode.
Do you have ad-aware to scan with?
If house call is clean why do you think you have a virus?

i dont know.. just thinking it might be..i dont know very much about this type of thing..i dont have ad aware

If anything, it'll clean the other crap off your comp. Be careful tho, Kaazaa regular needs a certain file before running.

ok couldnt delete in safe mode either

downloading ad aware now.
this should be able to delete these files?
