Looking for a premium NNTP news service

Not sure where this post belongs but I can't go wrong here I hope.

I'm wanting to set up an account with a premium news service providor (such as TeraNews, GigaNews, etc) but would prefer a Canadian company (mostly to avoid the exchange rate

).

Does anyone know of one or have an idea where to look? I've tried Google but no luck so far.

I'm doing the same search as you and I went to google. I came up with: lord.usenet_edu news.telebyte.nl there are many more. they're free. Good luck.

Thanks Gary... yeah, I found lots of free ones (most are not very good at all). I'm more looking for a premium pay service.

Is there a sign-up page for the one you mentioned or is it a free server and that's the server address?
