    IrDA ????

     
    I was looking at sites that sell cases .... and one had USB and IrDA sockets in the front. I'm going to get one with USB and a headphone jack in the front but ... what is an IrDA port ???
    I think I know.... Therefore I think .... I think .... I .... No?

    Yep, it's infrared. I use it to HotSync my Palm to my laptop. I've also used it with some printers that have IR capability when I've been onsite at clients and I'm not physically connected to the printer or their network. Very cool.

    Oh, you can also use it to transfer data between laptop/PC, etc. with it too.
