I have this keypad controled set of Roll Formers. On it was posted the directions to program it ..... in Korean.
I was near a Korean Restaurant so I asked one of them to translate it for me ..... they tried ... but either they didn't have the mechanical aptitude to comprehend the instructions & function of the machine ~ or didn't have the English skills to convey the information to me.
~~~~~~~~
So being the good "community" person, I posted my request for help here but have gotten no help on translation yet. I am only posting this here to draw some attention to that thread.
Can someone help me? Please?
In the other thread there's a link to a photo copy of the instruction sheet.
Would this be of any help?
Hmmm. After looking at your original post I suppose that site won't help much. You'd have to be able to type or paste the text in the translation box. Sorry.
Is there a brand name or company name for the parts in question? Maybe they have a web site.
This is how I understand it...
1. Turning on the main switch
2. Operating emergeny switch
3. Operating Key switch
4. Turning ON by push button, by manual button
5. Program input
6. Unit 1 = Starting the task - Unit 2 = Processing by material thickness
7. Type 1 ~ 9 size entry
8. Selecting thickness
9. Foot switch operation task
Thanks NDC. I'm really appreciative of ANY information at all.
However, I was hoping for a slightly more detailed interpretation, like if points 1 to 9 were: lengths & radii, or lengths & diameters. Also #6, Unit 2 & #8 both refer to thickness(es) and I don't get that. But, if that's all there is, then, I guess, that'll do. |
