Here is a case that will work wonderfully for storing your drives. Fully padded, shatter proof, water resistant, dust proof.

Actually the Pelican cases from the same site seem to be a better deal and more than adequate for the task at hand.

There's magneto optical drives. It's secure against magnetic fields. It doesn't store much yet however (about the size of a CD-R).
