That yellow AOL man is on top of my desk top icons! I have no clue as to how, where, or why it is there. It's not on every one, but most of them. I want to get rid of it. Any ideas?

I'm not sure what your saying, but I'm hazarding a guess that it has replaced the shortcut icon (little arrow thing) with an AOL icon??? Does this sound right?

download TweakUI and choose Repair Icons. It will redo the icon chache file so it reloads it correctly on the next reboot.

Download powertoys from Microsoft. This has a utility to repair/rebuild icons.

But for the less knowledgeable, how do you get it posted here?
