| that yellow AOL man is on top of my desk top icons
That yellow AOL man is on top of my desk top icons! I have no clue as to how, where, or why it is there. It's not on every one, but most of them. I want to get rid of it. Any ideas? |

I'm not sure what your saying, but I'm hazarding a guess that it has replaced the shortcut icon (little arrow thing) with an AOL icon??? Does this sound right? |

download TweakUI and choose Repair Icons. It will redo the icon chache file so it reloads it correctly on the next reboot. |

Download powertoys from Microsoft. This has a utility to repair/rebuild icons. | |
