oh no! i deleted an entire folder!

very disappointed, can't believe i just did that! all gone poof. after a day or two i come to realize that it can be retrieved. I've tried many version of freeware undeleter but all requried that you registered to restored anymore then 10k or 64k bytes. i come to a program that i think works best called active undelete http://www.active-undelete.com/undelete.htm which i registered for 29.95 for standard version but most of file i restored are corrupted??? i come to conclusion that if i had even written on it a little say even 1bytes that this would happen?

Undelete programs only work if the drive space the files were using hasn't been overwritten. If your hard drive is near full, you may have already overwritten that space and corrupted your files.
    You can't fix stupidity.

silly me why didnt i look inside that?

but the problem is, i disabled it and it's really deleted for good.
i have now set it to enable and 10 percent of harddrive space. hopefully this maybe preventable in the future.

We all feel for you as we have all been there.
Like the time I accidentally pulled the partition from my HD and lost EVERYTHING !!! I could have cried.
