Sounds like you've pretty much got it covered. The only change I would make, is to drop the WD drive and go for a Maxtor. |

Hmm, Ive had pretty bad luck with Maxtor hard drives. A slightly higher heatsink wouldnt hurt, especially if you plan to overclock. Thats also the ugliest computer case I've ever seen, but its all up to you. Sounds like you are definately on the right track. |

For the keyboard try going to http://www.tigerdirect.com
Last time I checked they had it, but they also have many other ones. I would definatly go with the WD hard drive, but even better would be an IBM HD if you can get one. In my opion Maxtors are not wery good, as I have had several fail on me.
Also for the WD drive, try using tiger OR going to the WD website. Last time I checked they had a similar hard drive (6o GB, 7200 RPM) |

HArd Drive:
IBM-They have good drives, but DON'T get a 60 or 75 series drive. They have bad prolems.
Fujitsu-Have had major problems lately, don't buy from them.
Hitachi-Smae drives as IBM.
Western Digital-Rebutable company, good drives. Never heard of an RMA from them.
Maxtor-Drives haven't been the greatest, but they have a great RMA service.
Seagate-HAve an 80 GB Barracuda from them now. Works fines, but I haven't had much experience with them lately.
I reccomend Western Digital.
If you have an old floppy drive, just use that. Floppys today aren't any diffrent from ones in 1990. Saves $10. |

I'll post his parts later on.. http://freewebspace.net/forums/showt...threadid=38865
What about these comments?
"And don't get the Epox board as it uses Via KT400 chipset(It wont work with your SB 5.1 soundcard). Get an Nforce2 + 2600+(333mhz FSB)+ PC2700 RAM and your system will kick ---." and so on..
VHockey, what case were you looking at? |

Looks good, but go ahead and get a better heatsink. AMDs run hot. Dont' scimp on the heatsink.
