Holy cow, I hope that is a fantastic motherboard for $158! I just bought a new Soyo Dragon Kt400 Ultra Black Edition for $110.
Oh yea, it had onboard 6.1 Audio and 10/100 Lan.

Dragon KT400 Ultra Black is a pretty decent motherboard. I have the KT333 Platinum. Anyway, when it comes to Athlon XP processors, I've found that the Soyo and MSI boards provide best performance. This is also what I've read! |

Only thing I'll suggest is to go for the 9500Pro video card over the 9500, newegg has it for 197, but it's just marginally slower then a GF4 4600, and is DX9 compliant. The 9500 has 1/2 the pixel pipelines of the pro model.
Other then that it looks like a nice setup.
Also my Epox 8KHA+ was beating the soyo board with KT266A. (I believe that was the Dragon Plus) |

| nahh....in my opinion, soyo is overpriced, and its not like your getting that much more. Which epox are you gonna get? |

Don't get anything OEM and ATI. There are problems with w/OEM 9500s (they are underclocked). IF you are on a budget and don't wanna splurge, get a Radeon 8500 or a Geforce Ti 4400. The Ti 4200 is also good, but you'll have to choose whether or not you want slow 128mb RAM or fast 64mb RAM. |
