Use a popup killer like:
NoAds 2002.09 It has nice rating on Cnet.
or Bayden PopupPopper 1.1 .

I didn`t use both but they seem to do the job right.

Pop up stoper by panic wave is SO great. No onle stops popups, manages cookies, and you can clear all your cookies, temp, ect with a click of a button on the toolbar

Yeah, it's a great piece of software.

But that one is free. I use the paid version

I would always reccomend this program. its ONLY 47k

http://www.iomagic.org/fsc/killad.zip <--- THIS LINK DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE. PM me if you want to give this a try.

I dotn know why people dont like it, but its very simple to use, no need to install alot of junk and such. Basically this prog will KILL every single thing that pops up except for thing like IM progs and windows, but any IE Pop-up ad will be closed and so fourth,a nd if u want a page to show up just hold down [CRTL] and it will bypass the killing.

enjoy.

::this topic has come up one too many times, seems like no one is willing to give Kill AD a try:: =(

Nice testing page. I use AvantBrowser (An alternative browser that is based off of IE) and it stopped all the popups on that page.

You should disable the program causing the popups during game play.

Remove the cause, don't try to heal the wounds.

well its kinda exessive since not JUST a popup blocker, but Norton Internet Security has the best popup stopper ive used so far, i get NO popups, and if by some chance i do, its easy to just copy and paste the address to the block list.
