3DMark 2001 score higher than 3DMark 2000

I was bored and decided to run some older versions of 3Dmark to see what I got, 99 did not work (doesn't work with win2K), 2000 did, I was expecting some crazy score but got only


3DMark 2000: 7109

compared to

3DMark 2001: 8247

What do you get in 3DMark 99 or 2000 with your current rig?

and while im on the topic of unusaul benchmarks

3DMark 2001 with 4xAA: 4860

wow comparing this to other scores on the online result browser it seems very low
