I don't know if it makes any difference at all, but i ran the benchmark after my pc had been running all day without a reboot. my 2001se score was 11979.
my setup:
AMD 2200+
1 gig ddr 2100
msi k7t266pro2ru mb
ATI All In Wonder 9700 pro
2x WD 800JB HDD
That's all the important stuff.
I ran the benchmark a week ago immediately after formatting and reinstalling XP and Video Drivers only and scored around 12600. What's the deal? I also noticed that after installing sp1 the scores dropped considerably. Any suggestions on how to improve would be geatly appreciated.
Thanks. |

I'm sorry I made a typo in my last reply.
my latest score should have read 10979, not 11979. |

well, did the voltage pin mod to 1.75v on my XPC sb51g.
the result wasn't as well as i expected. i could only bench 3dmark01 and complete it at 160fsb. i was really hoping for 165fsb . i think i've maxed out this rig and now i'm waiting for the new P4 XPC . it should have a higher memory setting and hopefully have cpu/agp voltage setting also.
anyway, i'm up 30 points from my last. 3dmark01se= 13,465 |

I finally got around to benchmarking my new system:
Win XP SP1
ASUS P4PE
Intel P4 3.06 GHZ with HT on
Radeon 9700 Pro/Catalyst 3.2 Drivers
512 MB PC2700 Ram
No Overclocking or shutting down anything running in the background and I got these scores:
3D Mark 2001 SE/330= 14111
3D Mark 2003 = 4647
Just installed new Corasir PC2700 and now my score for 3D Mark 2001 ver 330= 15248 undere the same above conditions.
