Hey Mad1,
You can just right-click on the item in the start menu that you want to delete and select delete.

OMG! I'm s embnarassed!
I hope you didn't try to carry out my instructions, I thought you meant it was still in the 'Uninstall' list. I ought to tattoo it on my arm, something like "Reply to the question that was asked, not the question you *thought* they asked"
Sorry.
Anyway, yeah, as people were saying, all you need to do is right-click on the offending item and select Delete. |

A) Are you sure you deleted the file ?
B) Press CNTRL+ALT+DEL and check to see if the program is really in use.
If it is use and you dont want it, then end task and try deleting again. |

Sounds like a botched uninstall. Easiest thing to do is shut down all running tasks, then try again. If you still can't delete it, look for processes that have a name that sounds like an uninstaller and shut those down.
If you still can't delete it, do a reboot.
Then delete the program's folder from the hdd. |

Download and install TweakUI. It has a handy interface for getting rid of unwanted entries in the "Remove Programs" list.
(Use your favorite search engine to find TweakUI) |
