| Dell Dimension 2350 .. because it has a 256MB free upgrade (total of 512 sweet MB while emachines has 128MB only), P4 CPU which spankes the Celeron hard and Dell has a great customer support as far as i know. |

I have 2 x Dell 8250 great stuff! Support is okay, but if they can't fix it, Dell sends out a tech to your home!

hmmm, calling emachines trash is a bit extreme, but the dell is the better machine. |

| if you wanted to build your own, you would have a great customer service team with tons of info to help you build it, it isnt that hard, and is usually cheaper.
if you dont want to make your own, then i would go with the dell. |

Also, to add to building your own, you learn ALOT about computers and hardware, i know i have.
But be careful, i thought my pc would only cost like $300, but i just kept seeing stuff i liked, and it built up to over $800..
But everything, just not the parts, cost about $2000 (Monitor, speakers, software, everything that is attached to my PC) |
